Join the PureTrails team

We’re on the hunt for an individual who enjoys the outdoors to join our team as a guide part-time.

PureTrails NZ is a Christchurch-based company, organising and running tours throughout the South Island. This guide will be in charge of driving the 16-seater bus and ensuring everything runs smoothly for the riders. You will also be required to:

• Pick up clients from their pre-tour accommodation
• Unloading the bikes on and off the bus
• Ensure the customers/ riders are all set before they start the trail
• Accompany riders to their accommodation and meals
• Set up morning teas and picnic lunches for the riders on the trails
• Assist with any basic bike repairs and maintenance if required
• Provide local information, history and points of interest to the riders
• Driving the clients back to their hotel at the conclusion of the tour

Some experience with bikes is advantageous.

The tours are either 5 or 6 days. We recommend to do a minimum or 4 tours per season (Oct-April) and a maximum of 8 (but you are welcome to do more if you want!)

You are required to hold a Class 2 Heavy Vehicle License and P-Endorsement.
