Cycle For A Cause

Cycle with PureTrails between October 2025 and January 2026, and we’ll donate $50 from every booking to the Wilding Free Mackenzie, helping protect the landscapes you ride through from invasive wilding pines.

PureTrails is pedaling with purpose across South Island’s stunning trails. Our mission? To help preserve New Zealand’s breathtaking landscapes by tackling invasive wilding pines.

How You Can Help
Join any PureTrails tour between October 2025 and January 2026, and we’ll donate $50 from your booking directly to the Wilding Free Mackenzie. Every ride helps fund real, on-the-ground work to control wilding pines and supports their fight to protect our natural playground.

The Mission
Wilding pines are rapidly invading some of New Zealand’s most treasured environments. These fast-spreading trees threaten native ecosystems, consume scarce water resources, and endanger iconic trails like the Alps 2 Ocean—some of the very routes we ride.

In our home regions of Canterbury and the Mackenzie Basin, these trees jeopardize biodiversity and the pristine views that make our tours unforgettable.

Your Adventure, Your Impact
Whether it’s the world-renowned Alps 2 Ocean, the untamed West Coast Wilderness, the dramatic Canterbury High Country, the iconic Otago Rail Trail, or the flavourful Great Taste Takaka tour—your journey helps safeguard the trails we cherish.

Why It Matters
By cycling with us through spring blooms or summer sunshine, you’re not only enjoying unforgettable adventures—you’re actively protecting the heart of our playground.

Join the movement. Share the mission. Ride with heart.
