Trail Map
This map shows the route of the Sounds to Sounds cycling tour, which stretches from the Marlborough Sounds at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, all the way to Milford Sound in the deep south.
Tour Two starts in Fairlie and continues through the Mackenzie Basin, following the Alps 2 Ocean Trail past Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, and into Twizel. The route moves through the Waitaki Valley, across Central Otago, and into Queenstown. From there, it heads into Fiordland, with a final ride through the Homer Tunnel down to Milford Sound.
