Booking Terms and Conditions
Bookings
Bookings will be confirmed and held on receipt of a deposit by PureTrails New Zealand. The deposit amount depends on the tour you book, and is listed under the tour price on each tour page. Payment in full must be received in full at least 30 days prior to the tour departure date.
Payments
Payment is accepted by cheque (in NZ currency); international bank draft; direct credit; visa or mastercard.
Refunds
PureTrails New Zealand strongly recommends all clients purchase travel insurance to protect against the unexpected. The following conditions apply, however we may at our discretion, allow you to transfer your booking to an alternative tour date depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
- Cancellations outside 60 days of the tour departure date will receive a full refund;
- Cancellations 60-30 days prior to the departure date will lose the deposit;
- Cancellations within 30 days of the departure date will receive no refund
PureTrails New Zealand, its management and guides do not accept responsibility or liability for loss, damage to, or theft of personal belongings (owner's risk), or for any expenses, including medical and transport expenses arising from personal accident, injury, illness, or hospitalisation. PureTrails New Zealand and their guides reserve the right to make any alterations to the itinerary in the interest of safety, comfort or unforeseen circumstances due to causes such as bad weather, illness, or misadventure. PureTrails New Zealand operates in remote areas. Every reasonable endeavour will be made to keep to published schedules but no guarantee is given. Clients are urged to take out the necessary travel insurance to guard against the unexpected. If at any stage you experience unexpected changes to your schedule, please call us to discuss. Minimum numbers of 4 clients per tour apply.
